Project Manager

Are you looking for the satisfaction of taking a project all the way from the planning stage to the end result? Do you like to combine theory with practice? Are you driven enough to take on challenges at the very edge of your comfort zone?

If your answer is YES on the above questions, then you may be the Project Manager that we are looking for.

The position

Your main role will be to have the macro overview of a number of projects from start to finish. You will be supervising and assisting Project Leaders, Foremen and Team Leaders in their work. For smaller projects you may be highly involved yourself in the practical work. For larger projects your role is more administrative and controlling. The projects may take place anywhere in the world and you may have to travel on short notice.

As new projects come in from our customers you will make pre-inspections, calculations, offers and purchase orders related to those projects. You will make sure that the applicable industry standards are complied with and you will prepare for third party inspections and class approvals.

During the project phase you will be the main responsible supervisor for a group between 2 and 50 persons and you will report to the Technical Manager on progress, results and deviations.

In the completion phase you will most probably be on site to control the results and quality of the job, conduct pressure tests, commissioning, performance tests etc. You will compile the information and results in a report which you will send to the customer.
