FURETANK CHARTERING IS HIRING A VESSEL OPERATOR

To strengthen our commercial team we are now hiring a vessel operator.
At Furetank Chartering you are joining a friendly and experienced group
who have fun together, in an international and fastmoving industry.

As a vessel operator you will plan, monitor and follow up the execution
of voyages and manage the challenges and tasks that arise throughout
the voyage. Administration is part of the job, including updating our
various IT / voyage management systems, as well as invoicing.
You will be part of our operations team, closely connected to other
departments within the Furetank group.

You are a sociable person with good communication and collaboration
skills and a commercial commitment. The position includes daily contacts
with cargo clients, brokers and port agents, as well as owners and the
crew onboard the vessels. We expect you to be committed and set on
developing and maintaining close, positive and constructive business
relations with our customers.

We are looking for an organized colleague who can handle several tasks
simultaneously. A hectic, high frequency trading environment can be
stressful and demanding, and you need the ability to
operate under time constraint. Our vessels trade 24/7 all year round,
which means that you will be a part of our duty system.

The position is based in Furetank’s brand new premises in Hinsholmen,
Gothenburg. The job includes traveling, mainly within Europe. Our business
language is English. Work experience from the shipping industry, either
at sea or ashore, and an adequate educational background are meritorious.
