Task assignment

You will be part of a team dedicated to provide the best solutions. The team develops windows client software for onboard use on vessels and client/server systems over network and internet.

You will join Kockumation Group in Malmö. Your skills in software design will help vessels calculate that stability and strength are within required limits and optimize loading cargo optimally onboard. The position offers you a unique opportunity to impact the direction that the development of existing and new software is going in.

Your background

Software Developer

You are a experienced software developer, preferably with a background from the marine industry, either as a Marine Officer, Mechanical Engineer or Naval Architect.

Your strong interpersonal skills and persistent focus on long term goals make you an efficient software developer, determined to keep project milestones and deliver first class results.

Qualififations Experience or knowledge of the following areas are expected:

* programming and principles

* C# programming, WinForms, WPF, ASP.NET

* C++ programming, Visual Studio, MFC/Win32

* HTML / HTML 5 / javascript / AJAX

* Experience in defining and writing specification and documentation

* Maritime knowledge experience will be an advantage
