Role description
As a service engineer you will be a part of Global Lifecycle Support. The position is based in Gothenburg although a large part of your time will be spent abroad on ships in other locations. Key responsibilities for you as a service engineer includes;
- Service
- Refurbishment
- Upgrades
- Preventive maintenance
- Repairs of cargo handling equipment on ships
In this role you will be in direct contact with both international and national based customers which is why we believe that you are outgoing and a team player as well as service minded and able to work independently.
You will be reporting to Branch Manager Sweden /Denmark, Global Field Service.
Qualifications
We expect you to be experienced in mechanical installations onboard, preferably also skilled in hydraulics and electric systems. Our systems are PLC based used together with hydraulic systems which demands skilled engineers to perform service and communicate information regarding service needs and opportunities to customers.
You are a problem solver at heart and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Furthermore, you are comfortable with the English language, both the written and spoken. B-driver’s license is mandatory.
