Green Tech Marine – a world leading marine scrubber manufacturer – develops innovative and high-performance solutions within environmental and energy-saving technology for the maritime and offshore industries. The young company’s leadership has extensive experience and expertise in the marine industry. Green Tech Marine has offices in Norway and Sweden and will shortly open up an office in Miami. Our compact exhaust gas scrubber for ships have proven to be very successful and we therefore need to expand our Project department in Gothenburg with more technical skilled persons.

Qualifications:

We are looking for a Lead Engineer Mechanical & Piping / Senior Systems Designer for our project department in Gothenburg. Suitable background is from marine- offshore or process industry. You will work in a challenging, fast moving and developing industry. As a person you are a powerful character with good communication skills and the ability to work on your own
initiative.

In addition:

• You have a BSC or MSC degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering or similar. We also welcome persons with lower education but long documented practical experience to apply to the position
• You have more than 5 years of relevant work experience
• You have a good knowledge of working with design and calculations of pipe systems and mechanical
• strength calculations with Autodesk tools such as AutoCad Mechanical, -Plant, -P&ID or Inventor
• You are quality conscious, precise and accurate
• You possess strong managerial competence in resource management & planning
• You have an open minded and flexible attitude with hands-on experience

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage teams of Mechanical –and piping engineers
• Calculations of pipe systems, mechanical strength calculations
• Prepare documentation for Class approvals
• Coordinate your teams work with Project managers and other departments within the group companies
• Improve and develop the companys products and procedurs
• Technical support for Sales department and R&D department.

The position is located at our office in Gothenburg but requires travels to ships and ship yards worldwide. You will work in an international environment so you need to be skilled in the English language, both in speech and in writing.
